Ann G. Russell, PhD, PT Assistant Professor
Dr. Russell has been a physical therapist for 30 years and has taught in physical therapist educational programs for 13 years (most recently at Cleveland State University).
Dr. Russell received her bachelor's degree in zoology at Ohio Wesleyan University , her master's degree in physical therapy at Case Western Reserve University, and her doctorate in exercise science at the University of Iowa. Dr. Russell has a varied and rich clinical background and currently practices as a home care therapist.
Dr. Russell's current research interests include the vestibular system and issues related to balance. She teaches the human anatomy course, the cardiac/respiratory clinical science course and selected research courses. Dr. Russell also coordinates the Motor Function Lab.
