Rob Rose - Assistant Coach

Rob Rose begins his fourth year on staff, and third as a full-time assistant coach. He will serve as the Cavs’ pitching coach, with a heavy involvement in recruiting. Rose’s 2012 staff featured Travis Danner, who put together one of the finest seasons in Cavs’ history going 8-1 with a 2.15 ERA.

Rose is a former pitcher, who played and lettered twice for Walsh. In 2010, he had a record of 3-4 with an ERA of 5.08. He pitched 62 innings, started 12 games, threw five complete games, and struck out 41 batters, leading the team in each of those categories. In 2009, he started in 31 games, mostly at first or third base. He hit .276 with seven multi-hit games, five multiple RBI games and a five-game hit streak.

Rob resides in North Canton.
