Corey Jones - Assistant Coach
Corey Jones, the fourth all-time scoring leader (1,777) in Walsh history, begins his second year as a graduate assistant coach for Jeff Young. Jones lettered four times and was a member of Walsh’s 2004-05 NAIA National Championship team. In his senior year (2007-08), he averaged 13.6 points per game and led the NAIA in three-point percentage (.552). A second-team All-AMC selection three times, Jones is Walsh’s career leader in three-point goals (354), three-point goals attempted (778) and free throw percentage (.865). His 43 consecutive free throws are also a school record. Corey holds single season marks for three-point field goals attempted (211), and free throw percentage (.941). Jones earned his undergraduate degree in business and is seeking his master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications.
