Kyle Triggs - Assistant Coach

Kyle Triggs begins his second season as an assistant coach on the staff of Jeff Young. Triggs served five years in association with the West Virginia men’s basketball program and was a student assistant for former Walsh Head Coach Bob Huggins before coming to Walsh.

Triggs, a native of Martinsburg, W.Va., previously served as WVU’s head basketball manager for four seasons, before becoming a student-coach. Triggs was responsible for conducting individual workouts, assisting with team travel, film exchange and supervising a 20-member manager staff.

At WVU, he assisted with individual workouts, videotape assessment, practice organization and operation, as well as other office responsibilities. He also served as co-director of the Bob Huggins Basketball Camps. 

A three-year letterman at Martinsburg High, Triggs played alongside former WVU All-American Kevin Pittsnogle. Triggs earned his bachelor’s degree in education from West Virginia. He is single and living in North Canton.
