Band and Choir

Exciting things are happening in the Walsh University Music Department!

Our Pride Band continues to grow and has become a key component to Walsh athletics, raising school spirit at football and basketball games.

The Walsh University Chorale performs a wide variety of musical selections, showcasing their vocal talent during their seasonal concerts and at various campus events. In June 2011, our Chamber Singers, a select group of Chorale members, traveled to Rome and performed at the Papal Audience.

The biggest news, however, is the addition of Walsh's Birk Center for the Arts, which debuted in January 2012. The new building includes the Dorothy Ling Rehearsal Hall and storage space for the band and choir as well as a visual art studio for drawing, painting and sculpture courses, and a spacious atrium to showcase artwork.
