Billy Conrad

Billy Conrad, a 1992 graduate, lettered four times for Walsh Head Coach and Wall of Famer Tim Mead. Conrad, a superb defender, earned countless honors for the Cavs. He was tabbed second-team Mid-Ohio Conference in 17 games as a freshman defender. His sophomore year was even better, as he was named first-team All-MOC, second-team All-District 22, third-team All-Ohio and Walsh Defensive Player of the Year. The talented Conrad also contributed two goals and two assists. His junior year, 1990, was his finest. Billy was named first-team MOC, District 22 and All-Mideast, while also being selected All-Area VI, second-team All-Ohio and honorable mention NAIA All-American on the Cavs' 14-5-1 playoff team. Conrad missed all of 1991 due to injury, but returned in 1992 to complete his stellar career.
