Bob Boldon

Bob Boldon (Men's Basketball, 1993-97/Louisville HS) lettered four times for the late Steve Loy on the hardwood. Boldon started at point guard all four years, and led Walsh to the NAIA Final Four in 1995-96. He averaged 8.2 points and dished out 163 assists as a freshman. The next three years were stellar for Boldon, as he was named First Team All-Mid-Ohio Conference each season. He averaged 12.7 points and handed out 204 assists in 1994-95 as a sophomore. As a junior, he averaged 14.5 points and handed out a then-record 222 assists in leading Walsh to the Mid-Ohio Conference championship and berth at the NAIA National Tournament. He was named MOC Player of the Year, first team NAIA All-American and Mr. Hustle at the National Tournament. As a senior, Boldon averaged 14.3 points and handed out 186 assists and was named NAIA Second Team All-American. He is still Walsh's career assist leader with 775 and is fourth in career points with 1,694. Boldon was also an assistant women's basketball coach on Walsh's 1998 NAIA National Championship team.
