Miguel Chavez
Director of Campus Ministry

Appointed in the summer of 2004, Miguel has been active with Walsh University as a student and now continues in Campus Ministry in service to holistically enriching students, staff and faculty. Miguel is a resident of Stark County and has been very active in area church, ministry, and educational programs. He received his B.A. and M.A. in Theology and Pastoral Ministry, as well as an M.B.A. from Walsh University. Miguel also serves as an adjunct professor in Theology.

Mary Niedenthal
Campus Minister,
Coordinator for Student Outreach

Mary has been with Student Outreach since the fall of 2005. She previously served as Director of Religious Education and Youth Minister for St. Barbara Massillon and St. Clement Navarre. She is a member of the Stark County Catholic Consortium, Diocese of Youngstown Council for Catechesis and Western Stark County Task Force. Mary graduated with a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry and Theology from Walsh and is currently finishing her M.A. in Theology.

Elizabeth Erickson

Elizabeth joined Walsh in September 2014. She earned her B.A. in Applied Behavioral Sciences from National Louis University and is currently pursuing an M.B.A. from Walsh University. Elizabeth assists in the facilitation of programs geared toward faith formation, spiritual practices, community services, community building, and leadership development on campus. She also works as an Admissions Counselor and acts as a liaison with Campus Ministry and Youth Ministry programs with a focus on relationships with Home School groups and the Cardinal Newman Society High Schools to build awareness of Walsh University.

For more than 10 years, Elizabeth has provided in-depth formation in the Christian life for young people by serving as a volunteer coordinator/promoter for Eagle Eye Ministries, in Laredo, TX, which is a ministry of the Community of St. John, a religious order founded in France. As an Eagle Eye Ministries volunteer, she completed a month-long formation program in evangelization, prayer and community life, led teens on adventure expeditions and leadership trips, and organized summer campus for more than 40 teens.
