Foreign language majors pursue careers in government and corporate translation, library science, travel and tourism, cultural and policy research analysis, the military, international diplomacy, law, museum services, media, international business and international philanthropic organizations. Any career opportunity in a bilingual community increases if individuals have competence in a foreign language.
