Christina Paone, Head Women's Golf Coach

Former Walsh graduate (2006, Business Marketing) and four-year letter winner Christina Paone is the new Walsh University Women's Golf Coach. Paone formerly assisted at North Canton Hoover High School from 2008-10 as an as assistant for the boys and girls programs.

Paone graduated from Canton McKinley High School (2003) and was a member of the Bulldogs state qualifying team in 2002. Paone then played on Walsh's first intercollegiate team and played on back-to-back American Mideast Conference Championship teams in 2004 and 2005. Walsh's 2005 team was the first team to qualify for the NAIA National Championships. Paone earned All-AMC honors four times and was named All-Region IX in 2005 when she finished fourth at the AMC championships.

"It is an honor for me to be back at Walsh University and to be a part of such an incredible program once again," exclaimed Paone. "My experiences at Walsh, both academically and athletically, will forever be a part of my life. I look forward to the upcoming season....the talent of the returning players and that of the incoming freshmen is fierce and I anticipate being a part of the success that is to come this season."

Paone is also employed at WDJQ 92.5 radio and resides in Canton with her husband Jason, son Caden, and newborn son, Roman (9/16/11).
