The Communication Major

As you pursue a Bachelors Degree in Communication Arts, you will be afforded the opportunity to focus on how organizations use and interact with mass media to gather information, establish corporate identities and images, and create and dissemenate news and information through Advertising and Public Relations strategies and techniques.

You will examine radio, television, and film from historical, theoretical, technological, and creative perspectives by combining customized, hands-on classroom instruction with real-life experiences through studies in Broadcast Communication.

You will examine writing, editing and designing for the growing and changing newspaper, magazine, and publishing industries in the areas of Print Journalism.
