CHD 612 Lifespan Development 3 sem. hrs.
This course is designed to conceptualize human development within a holistic, strengths-based paradigm. Students will be introduced to the theories of development in order to integrate in counseling the promotion of optimal development in individuals and families across the lifespan. This course is designed to assist in accurately assessing, treating, and conceptualizing clients of all ages. Furthermore, students will gain knowledge in developmental theories, processes, issues, and application of theoretical constructs to assessment and treatment of developmental issues. This is a beginning level course.
