Student financial aid is designed to help pay the charges listed on a student’s account. If there is money left over once these charges have been paid, a Credit Balance Refund Check is mailed to the student’s permanent home address beginning approximately two weeks into the start of the term in question. If a balance is owed after all financial aid has been applied, the student is responsible for paying that balance.
