ECE 316 Early Childhood Education: Teaching, Learning & Organizing 3 sem. hrs.
The incorporation of the knowledge and understanding of child development with concepts from the academic disciplines. Course examines resources for planning creative experiences for young children; relationships between materials and total learning environment; and techniques for helping children with special needs. Basic principles of administration, organization, and operation of early childhood quality programs. Field experience required. Prerequisites: ECE 210 and ECE 211. Offered fall and spring semesters.
