Walsh University Undergraduate Catalog 2012-2013
ENG 315-5 The Poetics of Space 3 sem. hrs.
This class acknowledges the tremendous impact of spatial structures on our lives, from very concrete practice to abstract theory. More importantly, it will investigate those spaces that have attracted the imagination and those the imagination has created for itself. This course is built with the intention that space becomes a question and ceases to be self-evident, if, indeed, living means to pass from one space to another. ENG 102 or HON 103 competency required. Next offered SP-14, SP-16.
