ENG 385 Literature and Film 3 sem. hrs.
H3: This course examines the similarities and differences in how prose narratives (fiction) and film narratives (movies) construct meaning. The course will include extensive discussions of narrative theory, and the application of that theory in the interpretation of fiction and film, in the writing of original narratives, and in the adaptation of those narratives to the screen. ENG 102 or HON 103 competency required. Next offered, F-12, F-14.
