NURS 240PL/AC Clinical Pharmacology and Nursing Management 3 sem. hrs.
Provides the student with a sound basis for the clinical application of pharmacology. Pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics with the implications for the nurse and the client are studied. This course includes an introduction to the major classifications and the associated prototype drugs. The students apply mathematical concepts to the calculation of drug dosages. Prerequisite: Admission into the Nursing Major. 240PL offered every fall semester, 240AC offered summer semester.
