DV: Exploration of group dynamics and group facilitation emphasizing applications in human service/training settings; support, training, counseling, psychoeducational and personal growth groups. Covers basic concepts and definitions; selection and structuring; stages of group development; leadership styles and functions; intervention theory; ethical and legal issues. Coursework involves experiential group activities. Prerequisites: 200- or 300-level PSYCH course. Next offered SP-13, SP-14.
