DV/HI: This course explores the African-American religious experience and the intellectual tradition stemming from it. Students will deepen their critical thinking skills by theologically engaging the writings of Ida B. Wells-Barnett, Angela Davis, Frederick Douglass, W.E.B. DuBois, M.L. King, Jr. and others. Prerequisite: THEO 106.
