BUS 328 Decision Support Systems (DSS) 3 sem. hrs.
This course is designed to present perceptive concepts used in decision making in a quantitative, effective, and systematic way, utilizing the available technology to model, analyze, and graphically present the process. Also, this course provides an examination of the role of technology and information systems in the decision making process. The main focus of the course is on the decision support systems and the techniques used, such as simulation, artificial intelligence, expert systems, data warehousing, data mining, and what-if analysis. Prerequisite: BUS 327; Junior status or permission of the instructor. Offered as needed.
