BUS 335 Cost Accounting II 3 sem. hrs.
As a continuation of BUS 334 the course emphasizes the uses of accounting data in assisting management in making decisions and establishing policies of operations. The course topics include standard costs, flexible budgets and analysis of cost variances, inventory costing, relevance in decision making, alternative cost allocation methods, pricing and profitability decisions, and capital budgeting. Prerequisite: BUS 210 or BUS 334 with a grade of C or better. (DSoB supports degree completion program offered through the School for Professional Studies.)
