PHIL 301 Philosophy of Knowledge 3 sem. hrs.
After examining the nature of knowledge and the conditions that make knowledge possible, students will study the various theoretical accounts of what constitutes genuine knowing. Also examined are the problems of meaning and truth, the role of intuition and affective experience and the influences of society, art and language. Next offered F-14.
