Creation in the Old Testament Weekly Lecture Series

Date(s): Sep. 10, 2013 - Oct. 8, 2013
Event Time: 7 PM - 8:30 PM

Creation is a central theme of Sacred Scripture. Not only does it begin the Bible; it pervades Israel's self-understanding and shapes its experience of history. It also frames early Jewish attempts to relate human reason to divine revelation. Appreciating the diversity of ways in which creation is invoked in the Old Testament can help us better grasp the development of key doctrines within Christianity and Judaism.
