Assistant Coach Damien MarchioneDamien Marchione enters his second season as an assistant for Coach Renard. He played three seasons (2000-02) for the Cavaliers. He scored 21 goals and helped lead the team to a top 25 national ranking in 2000. In 2003, he played at Notre Dame College and led the team in overall points to earn All-AMC honors.

Marchione coached the boys’ team at St. Thomas Aquinas High School from 2006-10, and led them to a record of 63-19-16, three district championships, two regional finals, a state record 45 shutouts, three top 10 polls, and had one Region IV ranking. He was the Stark County Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2010, and Tri-County Coach of the Year in 2006. Last year, he was inducted into the St. Thomas Aquinas Hall of Fame. He is a state Olympic Development Program head coach, US Soccer Federation Coaching School instructor and club director for Canton United SC.

He has played professionally on two occasions with the West Virginia Chaos and Ohio Vortex. Damien holds his U.S. Soccer Federation National 'A' License and NSCAA National Diploma passed with distinction.
