DeVille School of Business Launches Student Investment Team
What's New, 2013-08-16
Walsh students now have the opportunity to try their hand at investing in the financial markets, as part of a new team through the DeVille School of Business, and thanks to the generous gift of $50,000 each by two Walsh University board members. Students will spend the fall semester researching various securities and presenting their suggestions to the group. In the spring, they will decide collectively how to invest the funds.
Membership is by application-only and is open to any Walsh student (including undergraduate, graduate and SPS students of any major). If accepted, students will serve one-year terms with the possibility of continuing membership upon review. Membership is limited to 15-20 students.
Interested students can contact Professor Chase Senk (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
