Divine Mercy Sunday

Date(s): Apr. 7, 2013 - Apr. 7, 2013
Event Time: 2:30 PM

Walsh University invites you to participate in Divine Mercy Sunday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel. Our Lord's Mercy grants forgiveness of all sins and punishment on the Feast of Divine Mercy. Pope John Paul II made the surprise announcement of this change in his homily at the canonization of St. Faustina on April 30, 2000. There, he declared: "It is important then that we accept the whole message that comes to us from the word of God on this Second Sunday of Easter, which from now on throughout the Church, will be called 'Divine Mercy Sunday.' "There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Confession, Holy Hour, and the chaplet in song.
