On November 1, 2000 the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) granted Accreditation to the physical therapist educational program at Walsh University. Based on Walsh's 2005 Self-Study, CAPTE re-accredited the program for a full 10-year cycle, through 2015.
Accreditation affects the physical therapy graduate's ability to practice. All individuals applying for licensure in all 50 states, the territory of Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia must graduate from an accredited program to sit for the licensing examination.
Graduation rate from your program:
- For the class of 2012, there were 25 students enrolled and 23 graduated for a graduation rate of 92%.
- For the class of 2013, there were 32 students enrolled and 30 graduated for a graduation rate of 93.75%
- For the class of 2014, there were 32 students enrolled and 29 graduated for a graduation rate of 90.6%.
