Donor Recognition

Donors who make a legacy gift to Walsh University are welcomed in to the Brother Farrell Heritage Society. Brother Thomas S. Farrell, the society’s namesake, was the first president of Walsh University.

The Brother Farrell Heritage Society was established to recognize the permanent value of planned legacy gifts to Walsh University. Planned gifts include gifts through wills, endowed scholarships, charitable trusts, gift annuities, life insurance, or other estate planning vehicles. Through their foresight and beneficence, members of the Brother Farrell Heritage Society provide countless opportunities for future generations to benefit from a quality Walsh education. Walsh University recognizes the significant role that planned giving donors play in ensuring the university’s future.

Walsh is pleased to pay special tribute to the philanthropic leadership and vision of the members of the Brother Farrell Heritage Society. Recognition provided to the Heritage Society members includes:

  • Invitation to the annual Heritage Society dinner
  • Free admission to Walsh University athletic and cultural events
  • Name placed on a permanent plaque displayed in the David Center
  • Most importantly, the satisfaction of knowing that you are leaving a legacy that will continue to support Walsh University for years to come
