Entrepreneurship Fair

Date(s): Apr. 9, 2013 - Apr. 9, 2013
Event Time: 3 PM - 6 PM

This event is free to the public and will feature a group of expert panelists who will speak on the topic of entrepreneurship. The fair will also provide a platform for students to meet with industry experts who will have a chance to showcase their business ideas.

Participants will include: Doug Lane, President, North Canton Chamber of Commerce; Brian Bailey, Inchor Restaurant Group; Dan Thomson, Emerson Thomson Bennett (ETB) Intellectual Property Law Firm; Victor Pavona, Small Business Development Corporation; John Menches, Babcock & Wilcox; Ted Stults, Past President and CEO, Buckeye Feed Mills, Inc.; Joe Rosza, Trailer Trash Design; Bill McHenry, Chicago's United Inventors Association Board Member; and Canada's Brad Rabiey, "The Carbon Farmer."

The Fair will be separated into three segments:

  • Room A: Fair Booths for industry experts, graphic designers, patent attorneys, SBDC, SBA, Community entrepreneurs, small business owners, Chamber of Commerce, etc.
  • Room B: Keynote speakers will present information on their businesses, how they got started, the hardships, successes, etc.
  • Room C: Student-Run Businesses- display booths offering student entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their business concept, pitch their ideas to potential investors, or sell their products on-site.

Location: Walsh University's Barrette Business and Community Center
