SUMMARY:The Life and Thought of St. Thomas Aquinas - Presented by Dr. Andrew Kim
DESCRIPTION:
Part of "The Saints: Five Catholic Thinkers Who Challenged the Church," a five-part series on great Catholic thinkers.

The Theology of St. Thomas Aquinas has helped to distinguish Catholic thought for the last 700 years. In particular, his conception of faith and reason complementing each other in the pursuit of truth has provided a bedrock for articulating and approaching ultimate questions. In the modern world, where faith and reason are so often set in opposition to each other, Aquinas's approach is as relevant and needed as ever.

Location: Barrette Business and Community Center

This lecture is free and open to the public.
