Preserving the The Hoover Legacy in 2015

March - October

Hoover Company history is preserved on the Hoover family homestead with free tours presented at 1,2,3,4 pm, Thursday-Saturday, March – October (closed major holidays). Hoover family and Company history includes community growth from the Hoover business with vintage products and advertising. Hoover Company support of WWII includes displays of war materials produced. Also, August 2015 marks 75th Anniversary of English Evacuees arrival into Stark County where they made their home through the duration of the War. Exhibits expanded to include photographs, scrapbooks and videp of this unique facet of Hoover history. Original War art is displayed which was featured in Hoover wartime advertising. Group tours available weekday mornings with reservations. Donations graciously accepted.

Outdoor Storytelling

Tuesdays, August 4, 11 and 18, 2015

10 a.m.
Enjoy outdoor stories presented by children's librarians.who bring interactive stories to life with puppets, storyboards, audience participation. Light refreshments following approximately 30 minute presentation. Stories moved indoors if inclement weather.
Free admission.

Christmas on Hoover Farm

December 6, 2015

1 to 4 p.m.
Free Admission to view holiday décor throughout the Hoover family home, visits with Santa (Bring your phone/camera for family photos), live music, ladies in vintage attire baking cookies, refreshments, and Christmas caroling through Hoover Park on horse-drawn wagon. Small fee for wagon rides.
