Fit Family 5K

The 3rd Annual Fit Family 5K run, part of the Subway Race Challenge Series, is a fast road race that starts on the Walsh University Campus and winds through the beautiful surrounding community. The race and family activity promotes health and wellness to community members and children while supporting educational scholarships for the Walsh University Physical Therapy Students.

All pre-registered runners will receive a Walsh Fit Family 5K Race t-shirt (shirts not guaranteed to same day registrations). The top 3 overall male and female finishers will be given great awards. The top 3 finishers in each age group will receive an award.

5K Age Groups: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over

Kids of all ages are welcome to participate in a 0.5 mile run (two track laps). Parents are welcome to accompany their children. This is great way to introduce our younger generation to being healthy and fit. Each Kids Fun Run finisher will receive an award. Adults that wish to participate in the 5K may sign up for free child care for your youngster during the adult 5K race. We will have kid activities, face painting, and games during the adult race (inside the David Center).

Register online until September 12 at midnight.

Advanced Registration
5K adult race = $20
5K student rate = $15 (with ID)
Kids fun run = $6

Same Day Race Registration:
5K race (all participants) = $25
Kids fun run = $6

8:15 a.m. Stretching/activities for kids on the Walsh race track
