Walsh University's Mercy Wellness Center

Providing fitness and health services to Walsh students, athletes, and staff. Located in the Cecchini Center, the Mercy Wellness Center encompasses the Cavalier Fitness Center, University health services, community clinics and training areas for Walsh athletes. Click here to see what's inside.

The Cavalier Fitness Center has a host of equipment for all exercise needs, including elliptical machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, weight-resistant machines, free weights and stretching and aerobics areas. You will need a valid Walsh ID card to enter the fitness center.

Cavalier Fitness Center is staffed by educated and highly trained student staff members, who can answer any questions about the fitness and wellness center.

As a collaborative project with Mercy Medical Center of Canton, free community health clinics sponsored at the Wellness Center offer public health education seminars.

Cavalier Fitness Center Hours *(During School Year):

Beginning August 29th

Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Friday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 4 - 8 p.m.

Closed when school is not in session for holiday breaks and for official school closings due to weather.

Walsh ID's, full length and full sleeved t-shirts are required. A clean change of shoes is required during all winter months to avoid salt damage to flooring and equipment.

Additional Fitness Centers on Campus

The David Fitness Center is open when building is unlocked/open. (Generally 6am-11pm Monday-Friday and 12pm-11pm Saturday and Sunday while classes are in session.)
Summer Hours: When building is open, 6am-10pm.

Towers Two and Betzler Tower Fitness Centers
Open 24/7 during semester; Closed during Summer months
