We would like to thank the many friends of Walsh University for their time, donations and overall commitment to making Walsh University an asset to, not only its students, but the community at large. Thank you for taking the time to give to Walsh!
Below is a list of some of our boards and committees that help make so much at Walsh University a reality for our students, alumni, faculty, staff and the community.
The Walsh University Board of Directors
The Walsh University Women's Committee
The Walsh University Women's Committee, organized to serve as a liaison to the community, has raised more than $500,000 to aid in various university projects, including a commitment to the David Campus Center, campus signs and beautification, purchasing of equipment and furnishings and maintaining an endowed scholarship fund. This Walsh women’s group organizes two major Canton-area fundraisers annually; the Kentucky Derby Day in May and Fall Fashion Show in September.

The Alumni Board
The Walsh University Alumni Board meets monthly and members participate in many committees, including scholarship, student outreach, fundraising, golf outing and homecoming. Throughout the year, the Board is involved in many activities and is always looking for volunteers to add new ideas and to help plan and execute events. The Board also sponsors capital improvements at Walsh. Each year, they give out over 10 alumni scholarships. Click here for Alumni information and events.
The Heritage Society
The Brother Thomas S. Farrell Heritage Society was established to recognize the permanent value of legacy gifts to Walsh University. This society is named after Walsh’s first president. Walsh honors alumni, friends, faculty and staff who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to our institution by choosing to benefit the University through planned giving. Planned gifts include gifts through wills, charitable trusts, gift annuities, life insurance, endowed scholarships or other estate planning arrangements.
