Head Coach: John Hall

Walsh University Vice President and Director of Athletics Dale Howard have announced that John Hall, former Head Coach at Ashland University, will take over the reins of the Walsh men's soccer team.

Hall spent nine years (2001-2009) as Head Coach of the both Men's and Women's soccer programs at Ashland University. This past fall he served as a volunteer assistant at the College of Wooster. Hall fashioned a men's mark of 88-60-14 at Ashland and led the Eagles to a pair of GLIAC Conference Championships in 2005 and 2009. His teams appeared in four NCAA Tournaments and reached the Elite Eight in his first season. On the women's side, he recorded a record of 102-54-13 and also led the team to four GLIAC Conference Championships, four NCAA tournament appearances, and to the Elite Eight in 2004. Prior to coming to Ashland, Hall coached at Heidelberg College (women) and Westminster College (men) enjoying success at both stops. At Westminster he was 16-16-2 and at Heidelberg he put together a 30-23-1 record. Part of Hall's coaching education came as an assistant coach. He was an assistant women's soccer coach at Tiffin (1993-96) and served as an assistant with the men's programs at Gannon (1991-92) and Cleveland State (1992-93). Hall earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and sport administration from Tiffin in 1996. He completed his master's degree in business administration from Heidelberg in 2001.
