History, Hyperbole, and the Hippocampus: Nazi Propaganda and the Distortions of Memory

Part of the education series "Conscience: The Voice of God," in which Walsh faculty and members of the community address the structure, philosophy, formation and application of Conscience. The Walsh University Jewish/Catholic Studies Institute presents this unique adult education opportunity in a "Town and Gown" setting. The community is invited to share in six evening sessions as part of a regular Walsh Theology Division course entitled "Conscience: The Voice of God."

This session is presented by Dr. Douglas Palmer, Associate Professor of History and Associate Chair of Humanities, Walsh University.

Note: Community participants wishing to order the textbooks for the course may do so through the Walsh University Bookstore. A limited number of copies will be available for sale at the evening sessions. Texts include Conscience: The Duty to Obey and the Duty to Disobey by Rabbi Harold Schulweiss and The Nazi Conscience by Claudia Koonz. Handouts for other presentations will be available free of charge at the sessions.
