How are roommate conflicts dealt with?

During the first week of school, students are required to work with their roommate and Resident Advisor to develop a roommate contract, which later helps to resolve many problems that could potentially arise. However, if a student is having roommate difficulty, his/her Resident Advisor and Hall Director will work with both students to address the situation and make any necessary changes.
