A Message from Tiffany Kinnard
Associate Director of Residence Life

Dear Students,
On behalf of the Walsh University Residence Life staff, I would like to welcome you to the Residence Halls. The residential experience provides you with many resources to help you become acclimated to university life and to the Walsh community. It is Residence Life's goal to welcome and assist you during your transition to your new home away from home.
As you take the next step in your education, part of this will be a transition into Walsh's residence hall community. With this new transition, it is important to recognize the responsibilities and benefits that come with living in a residence hall. Walsh's residence hall communities are designed to contribute to your academic and social growth outside of the classroom. Being a member of this community will challenge you, requiring you to balance personal preferences with the needs of your roommate, suite mates and even floor members.
As you step on Walsh's campus opening weekend, challenge yourself to start fresh, try new activities, meet new friends, and become actively engaged in the opportunities that are presented. Living on campus will provide chances for you to connect with peers in a new light and allot you opportunities for discovery.
The Residence Life staff is here to help you with your transition, and our Resident Assistant team can be a consistent resource throughout your time in the residence halls. It is our mission for you to become an engage member of our community throughout your time at Walsh. It is my pleasure to welcome you to our campus!
