A Message from Bryan Badar
Director of Residence Life
Dear Students,
On behalf of the Walsh University Residence Life staff, I would like to welcome you to the Residence Halls. The residential experience provides you with many resources to help you become acclimated to university life at Walsh. It is certainly our goal to help you make the transition to your new home away from home.
The transition of living in a residence hall environment carries with it the rewards and responsibilities of community membership. It is important to recognize that you are now a part of a greater living-learning community. Each community member must learn to balance his or her personal preferences with the needs of other floor members. A rewarding and successful community is one that is governed by respect and consideration.
As you begin your journey at Walsh, I encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and become an actively engaged member of your residence hall community! The Residence Life staff provides countless opportunities to become integrated into campus life. Utilize your Resident Assistant as a resource throughout your transition! We hope you enjoy your experience in the Residence Halls and once again, we welcome you!
