Live for a month at Walsh's Rome campus while exploring intercultural communication and the relationship between the Roman Catholic Church and the modern world.
Dates: May 8 - June 5, 2010
Program Cost: Approximately $4500 (This includes everything but your personal spending money on incidentals. It covers: program fee, airfare, lodging, meals, and ground transportation.) *As part of the Global Learning Summer Tuition Policy, students can earn 6 credits at no additional cost as long as these credits are assumed as part of their fall 2010 course load.

COM 305-1 Intercultural Communication: Italy and the U.S. (H3) (Dr. Rogers)
THEO 282 Vatican I to Vatican II: The Roman Catholic Church and the Modern World (H2a) (Dr. Powell)
Site Visits: The Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican Museums and Press Office, The Jewish Ghetto of Rome, the Appian Way, Uffizi Museum, Academy in Florence, Palazzo Barberini, Santa Maria Maggiore, Trevi Fountain, and the Piazza Navona.
Weekend Excursions: 3 days in Florence, 3 days in Naples/Pompeii/Sorrento, plus a weekend for your own planning!
