One of the Saturday sessions will be a "Success Skills Workshop."

Time to Complete
One Year Pace: A student with an undergraduate degree in business may complete the MBA program in one year, or three consecutive semesters, provided the student begins coursework in either Session I of Fall Semester or Session I of Spring Semester. For example, a student beginning in Session I of Fall semester and enrolling in two courses each eight week session of the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters would graduate at the end of the summer semester. A student beginning in Session I of Spring semester and enrolling in two courses each eight week session of Spring, Summer and Fall semester would graduate at the end of the Fall semester.
Two Year Pace: A student may opt for the two year completion pace. The two-year pace is similar to the one year pace except that a student would enroll in only one class each eight week session.
Set Your Own Pace:A student may set his/her own pace, taking courses as convenient, but must complete all coursework in five years from enrollment in the first MBA course.

Expected Competencies
Students beginning the MBA program are expected to demonstrate competency in the functional areas of business (accounting, finance, economics) and quantitative analysis. A student holding an undergraduate degree in business satisfies the competencies in the functional areas of business. A score in the twenty-fifth percentile or higher on the quantitative section of the GMAT exam provides evidence of competency in quantitative analysis.
Various options for demonstrating competency are available to students who do not hold the undergraduate degree in business. Bridge-up coursework is one option and is available at the Walsh University School for Professional Studies Program in an accelerated format. A student may enroll in bridge-up coursework while taking courses in the MBA program. Bridge-up courses are not degree requirements, nor are they counted in a student's GPA. The program director and advisor are available to discuss other options.
Transfer/Waiver Policies
The MBA program permits transfer of credit hours for courses equivalent to those in Walsh's MBA program. In no case will transfer credit exceed six courses or 18 semester hours in the MBA program. Transferred credit is not included in the calculation of the student's GPA.
Each course transferred in under this procedure will require the separate approval of the related Walsh University MBA course graduate faculty and director. Transfer credit is not to be viewed as an automatic student right.
A MBA student with an undergraduate business degree may be considered for a waiver of a MBA 610 course(s) corresponding to the student's undergraduate major(s). The waived course would be replaced by equivalent credit hours in a graduate course.
