2. Keynote Luncheon - The Promise: Talent, Growth and the Power of the Web
11:30 AM - 1:10 PM Barrette Business and Community Center

Jaime Casap, Global Education Evangelist, Google, Inc.
There is good reason that a company with over $59billion in revenue last year invests in a global evangelist.  Jaime Casap works with organizations around the world to preach the power and potential of the web, technology, and Google tools as enabling and supporting capabilities in pursuit of creating powerful learning models.  In the Google culture of encouraging interaction, he works across other teams, including Google Fiber, the Google Policy Team, the YouTube Team, and the Google Capital Team.  He will convince us of how technology will enable education’s to be the “silver bullet” that saves lives and economies like never before.

Highly lauded and in his third term as Mayor of Stratford, Dan Mathieson is known for leading his city through a renaissance, anchored by robust broadband services that have attracted business, industry, and a thriving cultural scene. His counsel is sought after by communities around the world that are eager to make the transition to the creative economy, and his leadership as a technology innovator was recognized with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
