Jamie Kapferer has committed to continue her volleyball career at Walsh University in the fall of 2008.

Kapferer is a 5-11 middleblocker from Jefferson, Ohio.

Coach Singleton states about Kapferer, "I am ecstatic that Jamie is a Cavalier. She is extremely athletic and mobile and will add tremendous depth to our middle position. She is a fiery competitor and an extremely fun player to watch. Jamie is not one that likes to lose and I absolutely love that about her. She is a team player and will turn into a true leader for us. Jamie comes from an athletic family that is a joy to be around. I feel honored that she has chosen Walsh as her home for the next four years and i look forward to working with her and seeing her become even a better player than she already is."
