Jessica Schmidt Jessica Schmidt signed a NAIA National Letter of Intent to continue her volleyball career at Walsh University in the fall of 2008. Schmidt is a 5-8 setter from Michigan City, Indiana. She is a three-time letterwinner for Michigan City High School. Jessica competed seven years for the Dunes Volleyball Club and was a member of the 14-under team that finished third at the USVA National Championships. Head Coach, Krista Singleton, says about Schmidt, "I am so excited to have Jessica join the Cavalier family. She is a tremendous athlete that will contribute immediately from day one of the 2008 season. She is a competitor that will have the ability to run our offense and continue our success in the AMC. Jessica has the personality that will mesh will with other members of our team and I am ready for her to be on campus." |
