Jill Hanigofsky (Springfield HS) earned four tennis and three basketball letters from 1987 to 1991 and earned multiple honors in each sport.  While playing fifth singles as a freshman, she fashioned an 11-3 mark and a 9-2 doubles mark.  As a member of Walsh's 1989 District 22 championship team, she finished 9-3 at fourth singles and 8-3 in doubles and earned All-District 22 accolades.  Jill earned first team All-District 22 recognition in each of the next two years while playing first singles and doubles.  She recorded a 6-7 singles mark as a junior and a 10-5 mark as a senior. In doubles, she recorded a 6-7 mark as a junior and a 12-2 record her senior year.  Her career singles mark is 36-18 and her doubles record is 35-14.  Jill played three years of basketball and finished as one of Walsh's finest three-point shooters of all-time.  She earned honorable mention All-District 22 recognition in 1989-90 after averaging 13.0 points and shooting .456 from three-point range.  Her .456 mark from behind the line still stands as the highest in Cavs' history.  Jill repeated on the All-District 22 team as a senior, after averaging 12.3 points.  She tallied a career high 29 points against Adrian College.  She is tied for first in career three-point percentage (.381) and holds the mark for assists in a single game with 12.  She dished out 191 assists and scored 672 points.
