Trapani John

 

Dr. John G. Trapani, Jr., is Professor of Philosophy as well as the Chair of the Humanities Division at Walsh University.  He holds a B.A. from Boston College and a Ph.D. from St. John's University, Jamaica, N.Y.  He joined the Walsh University faculty in 1974.

Dr. Trapani is the author of numerous articles and book chapters, and he is the editor of a new book Truth Matters -- Essays in Honor of Jacques Maritain, published by the American Maritain Association and distributed by Catholic University Press, 2004.  He is a frequent presenter at scholarly philosophical conferences.

Prof. Trapani has twice been voted by the graduating senior class as "Outstanding Educator of the Year," in 1990 and again in 1995.
