Julie (Bachman) Nagel (Cincinnati Mother of Mercy HS) lettered four times for the Cavs' volleyball team from 1988-92.  Bachman starred as Walsh's setter on teams that compiled a 115-42 record over a four-year period and won Walsh's first District 22 Championship in 1989.  Bachman earned first team All-Mid-Ohio Conference and All-District 22 honors twice (1990, 1991).  She was named second team All-MOC in 1988 and 1989 and was second team All-District 22 in 1988.  Julie was also selected to the MOC and District 22 All-Academic Team in 1990 and 1991.  Bachman totaled 4,192 career assists, fourth on the all-time list.  She averaged 10.48 assists for her career, third on the all-time list and averaged 13.01 her junior year (1990), second highest for a single season.  Julie is also ranked seventh in career digs with 1,450.
