Cleveland Browns Kardiac Kids Visit Walsh this Saturday

Don Cockroft, former kicker/punter for the 1980 Kardiac Kids Cleveland Browns will be at Walsh University's Cecchini Center, Saturday, February 4, at 3 p.m. to sign his new book, The 1980 Kardiac Kids: Our Untold Stories. Cockroft will be joined by former Browns Coach Sam Rutigliano and former Browns running back Greg Pruitt. The signing will take place during the Walsh University's men's basketball game against Akron-Wayne. Tip-off is at 4 p.m. Sports memorabilia will not be signed during this event.
"The Kardiac Kids: Our Untold Stories," is the culmination of more than 130 hours of interviews with nearly 60 players and coaches from that fairytale 1980 team. The 672-page, hardcover book contains more than 650 photographs and features a look at how the Kardiac Kids team came together, then-and-now profiles of each player and coach, detailed recaps of every game, fan memories plus personal stories from the 1980 Kardiac Kids that transcend the game of football.
Available for sale will be a 1980 Kardiac Kids 30th Anniversary Commemorative print, a Lithographic print painted by artist Ray Simon. The book is available for $54.95 plus tax.
