Fr. Kawere is a lecturer at the Walsh University Kisubi Brothers Centre of the Uganda Martyrs University.  He comes to Walsh with a great deal of experience and expertise.  He attended the Institute of Teacher Education in Kyambogo, where he received his Dip. Ed.  His novitiate formation was at Prince of Peace Benedictine Monastery in Tigoni, Kenya.  Fr. Kawere attended the Consolata Institute of Philosophy, where he received his diploma in Philosophy and Religious Studies.  He also holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the Urbanian University.  He also completed his M.A. at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.  Fr. Kawere also completed a B.A. in Theology from the Heikima Jesuit School of Theology at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.  He also completed a M.A. from the Nijmegen Graduate School of Theology from the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen in the Netherlands. 

 

 

 

Teaching

Fr. Kawere teaches courses in graduate education at the Walsh University Kisubi Brothers Centre of the Uganda Martyrs University.  He has previously taught at Lady Irene Teachers’ College in Ndejje and Kitebi Secondary School.  

 

Scholarship

Fr. Kawere has research interests including education, philosophy, and theology.
