Njuki, Eria Paul

 

Professor Njuki is a temporary instructor at the Walsh University Kisubi Brothers Centre of the Uganda Martyrs University (2007-8).  He specializes in ISE and ECIS, as well as Curriculum Development.  He graduated with a Certificate in Primary Teacher Education as well as his Diploma in Advanced Educational Studies from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K.  He holds both a Bachelor’s (B.Ph.) and Masters (M.Ed.) in Education from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K.  He is awaiting acceptance for doctoral studies in autism in Oslo. 

 

 

Teaching

Professor Njuki has taught early childhood as well as Intervention Specialist courses.  He served as the Acting Head of a Unit for children with mental retardation in Misanvu.  He has lectured and supervised dissertations for graduate and undergraduate students.  He comes to us from ITEK/UNISE/Kyambogo University.

 

Scholarship

Professor Njuki has published and presented on a variety of topics for regional, national, and international groups.  He has published bulletin and journal articles including regarding counseling, working with parents, instructional aids, literacy, and intervention specialist—to name a few.

 

Service

Professor Njuki has served as the Editing Assistant for the African Journal of Special Education.  He has been the Ag. Coordinator of the Section for Early Childhood Learning and Assessment Centre (ECLAC).  He chairs a staff Committee which undertook a Tracer Study on the former UNISE graduates in 1999.  He is the Current Secretary of Academic Affairs for the Kyambogo Academic Staff Association.
